PLACES WORTH VISITING IN VERMONT –

Bronwyn-on-Battenkill (Arlington, VT)
The Bronwyn-on-Battenkill is on the banks of the Battenkill River, a renowned trout-fishing stream and our primary reason for being in the area. We stopped in for dinner on an October evening, and to our fortune, the date fell in during their Oktoberfest celebration. Enjoyed great food, beer, service and ambiance. Haven’t had fantastic German food like this in the States in a long while. We didn’t have the chance to enjoy the deck or the outside music venue, but hope to wander back this way for a repeat visit soon.
Note: if you are a fisherperson, make sure to stop into the American Fly-Fishing Museum in Manchester. Wonderful small museum with great staff.
